Notes  Distribution: Also distributed in Gilbert Islands, Okinawa, Seleo Island (Clark, 1954), Australia (Rowe & Gates, 1995). General distribution: tropical, west Pacific Ocean, Indo-Malayan Region. Depth range 0-70 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995). [details]

Remark: Type locality: Jakarta (as Batavia), Indonesia. Holotype in Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris (France) (Rowe & Gates, 1995).
