Description Length: 23-24.5 cm exclusive of elongate central rectrices which may be 7 cm. Plumage: above and below bright green; face-mask black; white forehead; eyebrow and cheeks light blue; chin bright yellow shading to rufous-brown on throat; underwing cinnamon. Immature paler than adult with central rectrices short. Bare parts: iris red; bill black; feet and legs black. Habitat: coastal creeks, inland thickets and riverine forest.
