Description: Description: like O. purpurea, but arms with dorsal pale line bordered by darker line or series of spots either side (Richmond, 1998). Also distributed in SE Arabia, Ceylon, East Indies, Philippine, China, south Japan and South Pacific Is. (Clark & Rowe, 1971); Australia (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Ecology: benthic, inshore, cotinental shelf. General distribution: tropical, Indo-west-central Pacific Ocean, depth range 12-105 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995).
