Description Found mostly in inshore bays, lagoons, harbors, mangrove pools and estuaries, thus apparently able to tolerate lowered salinities. Inhabits turbid waters, forming large schools (Ref. 1602). Also caught using ringnets (Ref. 5213) [details]
