Description: A conspicuous, very rugged shell, up to 12 cm, with heavy spined varices on whorls. Colour off-white to light brown; aperture white with rose pink on inner edge of crenulate outer lip; columella rose pink. Habitat: around shallow sheltered reefs. Distribution: Indo-Pacific.
