Taxonomic remark The genus Oliva is rather heterogeneous and a number of subgenera have been proposed, some of them even raised to full genus. Following Kantor et al. (2017) these taxa are treated as subgenera, but there is evidence that some, as currently used, are paraphyletic. [details]
