Holotype Dresden Museum, but according to Hooper, 1996: 175, the material was destroyed during WWII. There should be some fragments in the Natural History Museum, London (BMNH 1877.5.2.21.1306-1309). [details]Spelling The genus name was misspelled as Ophlitospongia. [details]
