Classification: The validity of this genus is not checked properly nor its classification. Kufferath (1950) describes six formes that were sampled by Meunier from the 'Flemish' North Sea and various species belonging to this genus were described from the Kara and Barent Sea. These specimens were collected by Meunier. Kufferath (1950) noted that these forms appear to be kysts of Tintinnids or Ciliates. [details]
