Authority: L. impatiens was mentioned by Claparède in 1868 in the Golf of Naples, and Lumbricus fragilis Delle Chiaje (non Müller) was placed in synonym with it. But not mentioned as a new species (ZR, 1868: 540). [details] Distribution: Distribution: Maldive and Laccadive Archipelagoes, India, Persian gulf, red Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea (Fauvel,1953).
