Unreviewed: has not been verified by a taxonomic editorDistribution This is a cosmopolite species; abundant on Laminarians. As these rarely occur on the Belgian coast, L. geniculata is observed on the immerging parts of breakwaters, mainly on the bryozoan genera Flustra and Alcyonidium, and on the stems of the Sertularian hydrozoans. In some cases (not reported for Belgium), this species is observed attached at fishes, isopods etc. [details]
