Notes
From editor or global species database
Checked: verified by a taxonomic editorRemark This is a dubious Mycale (as the name also implies), because no 'hamate' spicules were found (just styles and sigmas?). Czerniavsky's material is incomprehensibly described in variously latin and russian in a complicated set of variously dated reprints and journal issues. Illustrations of spicules tend to emphasize abnormal spicules, rather than the normal shapes. [details]
