Habitat: free-living or bottom dwelling [details]
Importance: useful in determining environmental quality [details]
Reproduction: separate sexes; fertilization internal, eggs may be retained until hatching. Young appear as juvenile worms (not larvae). Male of this species has 20 pairs of minute caudal papillae present on conoid portion of tail. [details]
