Maraenobiotus veris sp, nov, and Gulcamptus yoichiensi ssp. nov. are described from a snowmelt pool of Hokkaido, northern Japan. Maraenobiotus veris is close to Maraenobiotus bruccei, and G. yoichiensis is close to Gulcamptus uenoi.
