Some specimens of a new species of Pionosyllis (Polychaeta: Syllidae: Eusyllinae) have been found in the Alfaques inlet (Tarragona, Spain). They were taken out of a fine sand bottom with Cymodocea nodosa meadows, 0.4 m depth.
