A new crustacean, Tesnusocaris goldichi, n.gen., n.sp., is described from the Tesnus formation (Pennsylvanian) of the Marathon region of western Texas. Its relationships are obscure. Although the first two pair of cephalic appendages are strangely modified and the presence of a fourth and fifth pair are in question, the presence of a third pair modified as mandibles characterize it as a crustacean.
