A new trematode species, Peracreadium gibsoni sp. nov., from the gut of the Black Sea Puntazzo puntazzo (Gmelin), is described; original figures are given. New species differs from the closely related, Peracreadium characis (Stossich, 1886), by the relative length of the cirrus-suc and the ventral sucker, structure of metraterm also by relative length and breadth of the pharynx and suckers and by original eggs form. The genus Peracreadium Nicoll, 1909 is recorded from the Black Sea for the first time.
