The taxonomic studies on the polychaetes of the tropical Northwest continue with material collected in the region between Port Samson and Exmouth in October 1-10, 1975. 101 species were found; 67 of them were already known to science. 51 of these 67 species were already found at the coast between Derby and Pt. Hedland (part 2). 15 species and one subspecies are new ones and will be described and named. Five species were determined with some doubt to species level, but 13 species were indeterminable to species or generic level, due to incompletement or juvenility. Four of the already known species are recorded from Australia the first time. Opisthosyllis japonica, Parasphaerosyllis indica, Travisia olens, and Euclymene annandalei.
