Taxonomy Goodwin et al. 2011 & 2014 suggest that this species belongs to Myxilla (Styloptilon), which if correct would threaten the name Styloptilon Cabioch, 1968 for reasons of priority, as the present species is the type of Jelissima de Laubenfels, 1936. We will await a redescription and a formal proposal before this is implemented. [details]
