Introduced species remark Reported as introduced by Eldredge & Smith (2001) on the grounds that "It is unlikely to have been missed in collections of some two or three decades earlier [than its description in 1859]. It is thus another example of a species being first described from the site of introduction." However there are hardly any reports elsewhere (except in the Red Sea y Lamy, 1938)and Oliver, 1992) and this therefore requires confirmation. [details]
