Type material The unique holotype female (2.4 mm) of S. hurleyi australis is in the SAMA (C4366), in spirit and on a microscope slide. The type locality is the Tasman Sea, south-east of Botany Bay [34°10’30”S 151°32’E], Warreen stn. 217b, 200–0 m, 6 September 1939. [details]
