Ecology Numerous specimens have been observed walking on the rocky bottom of pools in the depths of the cave. The entrance is at elevation of 1495 m a.s.l, the bottom is ca 500 m below. The air temperature is very variable and may be periodically close to 0oC [details]
Etymology The name “lubuscensis” should allude to the type locality of this species, Lubuška Jama Cave. [details]
Holotype Holotype is deposited in Oddelek za biologijo, Biotehniška fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Two paratypes are deposited in Karaman`s Collection in Podgorica, Montenegro. [details]
