Original description Length 55 mm., width 46 mm., depth 7 mm.,ambulacra petaloid, plates single. Outline subpentagonal, edge almost trenchant. As pointed out by Morley Davies this species differs from C. carteri Duncan et Sladen in outline and in
structure of pore fields and from C. oblongus Sowerby in possessing fewer tubercles. [details]
