Diagnosis Apical disc plating hemicyclic with only ocular plate III consistently exsert; plating easily detached from corona. Ambulacral zones straight; primary tubercles differentiated orally but reduced adapically and alternating irregularly with enlarged secondary tubercle on every third plate so as to form a well-defined single adradial column adjacent to each pore zone above ambitus. Median zone filled by a broad granular band wider than the diameter of a primary tubercle. Interambulacral zone with upper two or three primary tubercles greatly reduced and with plates covered in a dense, uniform granulation. [details]
