Diagnosis A subfamily of Antedonidae with centrodorsal conical to hemispheric; cirrus sockets in alternating rows; cirri stout; peripheral cirri of 30-75 segments; cirrals short, rarely to 2x longer than wide; adjacent brachitaxes and arm bases closely apposed, with straight sides; proximal pinnules short, usually tapering from the base; P1 with up to 17 segments; genital pinnules with at least 2 pinnulars expanded in females (more in males), forming a brood pouch; viviparous. [details]
