Species Lepas elongata (Quoy and Gaimard, 1834) accepted as Lepas (Lepas) testudinata Aurivillius, 1892(unaccepted > nomen oblitum, The name of L. elongata has not been used for more than 50 years. It is considered as Nomen oblitum. Foster (1978) considered L. elongata was L. testudinata due to coincide with the geographical distribution and wth tuberculated pedunclesl)
