Spelling The spelling baicalensis and baikalensis are used intechangeably in literature (baicalensis in Nasonov, 1930; Timoshkin, 1986; Timoshkin, Naumova & Novikova, 2001; and baikalensis in Rubtzoff, 1929; Evdonin, 1977; Karling, 1980; Timoshkin & Kawakatsu, 1996 and Timoshkin, 2004). The original description is A. baikalensis, so this spelling is the only correct one. [details]
