cross-section. Wall solid, noncanaliculate, finely finished, of fine agglutinated particles in organic material, often well-silicified, insoluble in HCI. Aperture terminal, small and rounded, on a collar or short neck.
Distribution & Stratigraphic range. Upper Pennsylvanian to Eocene; Australia; USA: Kansas, Texas; Indian Ocean; North Atlantic; Barents Sea; Alpine-Carpathian region: Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy.
