Diagnosis Test trochospiral in the early stage, planispiral in the adult, eight to ten rapidly enlarging and slightly inflated chambers in the final whorl, chambers with small umbilical flaps on both sides of the test, sutures radial, gently curved, depressed, periphery rounded; wall calcareous, coarsely perforate, optical character not described; aperture interiomarginal, equatorial, and extending along the base of the final chamber onto both sides, bordered above with a narrow lip.
