Diagnosis Test auriculate in outline, biconcave, low trochospiral coil of about two and a half whorls, seven to nine chambers in the final whorl, later chambers somewhat inflated, spiral side evolute with curved and limbate sutures, umbilical side involute, with closed umbilicus and straight, radial, and depressed sutures, periphery truncate, bicarinate, peripheral outline lobulate; wall calcareous, microgranular, coarsely perforate, peripheral keels imperforate; aperture a high interiomarginal, equatorial arch bordered by a narrow lip, supplementary sigmoidal apertures parallel the periphery on the umbilical side, arising from the basal suture of the chambers and extending about one-third to one-half the height of the chambers, those of earlier chambers closed with later growth.
