Diagnosis Test very low trochospiral, bi-involute, planoconvex, seven to twelve chambers in the final whorl, spiral side flattened to slightly concave, umbilical side convex with umbilical plug, chambers broad and low, somewhat elevated adjacent to the depressed sutures that are strongly arched forward and curve back at the periphery; aperture an interiomarginal, equatorial, slitlike opening, without a lip.
