Diagnosis Test unilocular, subglobular to slightly ovate in section with complete peripheral keel; wall calcareous, hyaline, surface with a coarse reticulum of raised ridges; aperture subterminal, an elongate slit just ventral to the projecting keel, ventral margin of the aperture bordered by a short spatulate lip, provided internally with a long entosolenian tube that attaches to the inner dorsal wall and extends nearly to the base of the test.
