Diagnosis Test small, elongate, up to about 0.8 mm in length, circular in section, uniserial, rectilinear, sutures horizontal, straight to slightly arcuate, flush to weakly depressed in the later stage; wall calcareous, radial, fibrous, each chamber attached to the previous chamber without wall overlap or secondary lamination or with only slight overlap of one or a few chambers, surface smooth; aperture round, terminal, bordered by a thickened ringlike area of the wall.
