Diagnosis Test small to large, up to 11 mm in length, elongate subcylindrical to subglobose, with sharply pointed poles, axis of coiling straight, up to thirteen volutions following the small spherical proloculus, septa numerous, closely spaced, strongly fluted from pole to pole, most intensely in the polar areas where the folds may nearly reach the top of the chambers; wall very thin, of tectum and finely alveolar keriotheca, although alveoles may not be recognizable in the early whorls, tunnel present, up to half the height of the chamber, massive chomata appear blocky in axial section and commonly reach the top of the whorls.
