Diagnosis Test small, up to about 1.5 mm in length, early stage discoidal, later stage with sharply changed axis of coiling and becoming fusiform with acute poles, septa numerous, unfluted, or with slight fluting at the poles of the outer whorls; wall of tectum and diaphanotheca, chomata low, asymmetrical and bordering a broad low tunnel.
