Diagnosis Test free, up to 0.20 mm in diameter, described as having two concentric chambers but appears to consist of a single chamber with thick calcareous wall, through which perforations extend to terminate in thornlike processes at the surface, inner layer of the wall thin, dark, and imperforate and gray outer layer thicker.
