Diagnosis Spherical proloculus followed by tubular or hemicylindrical second chamber that is trochospirally coiled in a low cone to nearly planispiral, similar to Howchinia but less high spired, spiral suture may be slightly depressed; wall calcareous, of two layers, a dark microgranular inner layer and a pseudofibrous outer layer that expands into an umbilical filling on the concave side of the test; aperture a simple opening at the end of the tubular chamber, lacking the supplementary apertures found in Eolasiodiscus.
