[The development of the species of the foraminiferal genus Gaudryinopsis Podobina, 1975 during transgressions through the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Paleogene in Western Siberia is considered. The main morphological characters of this genus are given, distinguishing it from the similar genus Gaudryina Orbigny, 1840, which previously included many species of other genera. The stratigraphic position of the Gaudryinopsis subbotinae zone (Middle Lyulinvorskaya subsuite; Middle Eocene) is specified.]
