The occurrence of Dinantian Chonopectinae in the British Isles is discussed. Productus carringtoniana Davidson is removed from the genus Chonetipustula and designated the type-species of a new genius Carringtonia. A newly discovered chonopectinid Palmerhytis stebdenensis gen. et sp. nov. is described from the Craven Reef Belt of North Yorkshire and a formerly unnamed chonopectinid, P. bunnahonensis sp. nov., from Co. Fermanagh, Ireland is referred to the same genus.
