Diagnosis Test ovate in outline, robust, sides flattened to concave, periphery broadly rounded, with carinate angles, proloculus followed by chambers one-half coil in length, planispiral; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous; aperture a low ovate opening at the end of the final chamber, with a short and broad bifid tooth.
