Nothobomolochus oomenatsutobi sp. nov. is described based on specimens of both sexes recovered from the bucco-branchial cavity of the limpid-wing ?ying?sh Cheilopogon unicolor (Valenciennes, 1847) in Japan. This species was dealt with previously as N. cypseluri (Yamaguti, 1953) by Izawa (2020). Key words. — Parasitic copepod, Cyclopoida, Bomolochidae, Cheilopogon unicolor, Exocoetidae
