A new nodosariid genus Dagysina gen. nov. with the type species Dagysina novosibirica sp. nov. is described from the Norian deposits of Kotel’ny Island, New Siberian Islands. A close phylogenetic relationship between Dagysina and the Early Liassic Frondiculinita is revealed based on morphological resemblance and an identical geographic range.
