Diagnosis Original diagnosis and electronic translation: "Genus Paramisellina Zhang et Dong gen. nov.
Paramisellina houchangensis gen. et sp. nov.
Genus Paramisellina Zhang et Dong gen. nov.
Type species: Paramisellina houchangensis gen. et sp. nov.
The shell is tiny and oval. The central axis of the inner ring intersects the central axis of the outer ring at an angle. The spiral wall is extremely thin, composed of dense layers and fine honeycomb layers. Very small proloculus.
Comparison: The shell shape and shell size of the new genus are very close to those of Schubertella, but the latter has no nested walls and no pseudo-circular ridges. The difference from Misellina is that the shell is tiny and the spiral wall is extremely thin, pseudo-circular ridges are poorly developed.
Stratigraphic range: Earliest Permian."

Taxonomic remark Paramiselina is not a junior synonym of Misellina (as stated in Rauzer-Chernousova et al. 1996). It is rather an atypical Schubertellinae than a Misellinidae (Vachard (2022) pers. comm.). See also the diagnosis note. [details]
