Taxonomic remark Igo et al. (1993), p. 20: "Huang and Zeng (1984) proposed the subgenus Nanpanella for the genus Pamirina, with the type of Pamirina (Nanpanella) laxa Huang and Zeng from the Lower Permian Longlinian of Longlin, Guangxi of South China. Nanpanella, however, has a spirotheca replaced by secondary mineralization and is apparently assignable to the family Staffellidae (Sheng et al., 1988)" [details]
