Description P. небольшие, веретеновидные или эллипсоидальные; нач. к. маленькие; в первых внутр.об. навивание под углом к последующим; ст.р. с диафанотской; септы прямые; хоматы массивные, лентовидные; устье отчетливое. Эволюция семейства шла путем увеличения числа оборотов и соответственно размеров раковин. Н.-в.пермь (яхташский- мидийский ярусы). От других семейств отличается широкими лентовидными хоматами в сочетании с прямыми септами и ст.р. с диафанотекой. Test small, fusiform or ellipsoidal; juvenarium small; in the first internal whorls winding at an angle to subsequent ones; wall with diaphanotheca; septa are straight; massive, ribbon-shaped chomata; the aperture is distinct. The evolution of the family proceeded by increasing the number of whorls and, accordingly, the size of the tests. Lower-Upper Permian (Yakhtashian-Midian stages). It differs from other families in its wide ribbon-like chomata combined with straight septa and wall with diaphanotheca. (Rauzer-Chernousova et al. (1996)).
