Nomenclature Hooper & Wiedenmayer (1994: 138) misspelled this name as Histoderma polymastoides. [details]Synonymy Dendy (1896: 27) assigned this species to the synonymy of Histioderma verrucosum Carter, 1886, followed by Hooper & Wiedenmayer (1994: 138). However, neither publication based this decision on examination of the material. For the time being we keep this species as valid. [details] |
