Homonymy This is a junior secondary homonym of L. echinata Schuffner, 1877, created by Dendy's (1913) reassignment of this species...
Homonymy This is a junior secondary homonym of L. echinata Schuffner, 1877, created by Dendy's (1913) reassignment of this species to Leucandra. Dendy synonymized both Schuffner's and Carter's materials, but Burton (1963) (pp. 30 and 248) disagreed with the synonymy. If Dendy is right, there is no problem. However, if Burton is right then Carter's species will have to be renamed. [details]
