Taxonomy Based on its original description, Santodomingo & Becking (2018) consider this species to be a junior synonym of Cinachyrella porosa (Lendenfeld, 1888). We wait for a proper redescription of the type as well as additional genetic data on the C. porosa complex to confirm this synonymy. [details]
