Homonymy By reassigning Dendy's species Myxilla arenaria to Lissodendoryx, Lévi (1969) created a senior secondary homonym of Burton's South African Lissodendoryx arenaria. However, Hofman & Van Soest (1995: 98) reverted Dendy's and Lévi's records to Myxilla (Ectyomyxilla) because the chelae are anchorate, not arcuate as is required for Lissodendoryx, thus causing the homonymy to be removed.
