Taxonomy The species is controversial and virtually unrecognizable as it is based on an analysis of protein electrophoresis without further morphological corroboration. This and two other taxa were originally presented as 'subspecies', but since subspecies are generally assumed to be allopatric and the three Suberites taxa were collected in the same locality their status is here changed to 'species'. [details]
