AB  - The Haplosclerid sponge fauna of Banyuls-sur-mer (Mediterranean) is the subject of this study. Fifteen species were collected among which one is described as new to science, viz. Haliclona griessingeri n.sp. A review of the Haplosclerid fauna of the Banyuls region is given and comparisons with neighbouring areas are made.
